Some pictures of the sealife we saw in Hawaii

 A Moorish Idol. This was Tom's favorite fish to see. It is about 10" tall and up to 12" long. A pretty big fish.  blank banner

Moorish Idol Easily identifiable by its strong yellow and balck bars, the Moorish Idols feed mostly on sponges and algae.

 The Reef Triggerfish. This was Shannon's favorite fish. We saw this fish every day in some rather shallow water.  {short description of image}

Reef Triggerfish Known to Hawaiian as "Humuhumu nukunuku apua'a", the reef triggerfish is the state fish of Hawaii.

 We saw Green Sea Turtles every day. They are quite large, some more than two feet long. They seemed very gentle and did not mind letting you get a good look from just a couple of feet away. We looked for turtles every dive and were never disapointed.
